What Is the Project?

"Arcades with a Cause" is the first-of-its-kind initiative that brings together arcade and tabletop games, recycling, and education into one innovative and memorable experience. Our arcade machines don’t take coins—they’re activated by plastic bottles, cans, and paper cups.

Educational games with an environmental theme
Real-time tracking of individual contributions and visualization of the larger ecological issue
Rewards – each collected bottle or can helps create a collectible aluminum or plastic figurine, which not only symbolizes responsibility but also becomes part of our tabletop game.

Games with a Mission

Each arcade will feature games developed by DevHubOne or by external developers, all focused on environmental protection, sustainability, and ecological education. The goal is to nurture conscious young people through entertainment that truly matters.

Circular Economy in Action

Collected materials aren’t discarded; they go through a complete sustainable cycle:

In our workshop, we will create a mission-driven tabletop game in which participants (children and families) use the collected figurines to learn through play. The game is aimed at children aged 12–16, as well as younger kids accompanied by their parents. Stay tuned for details and visuals of the game coming soon.

Pilot program - from Prototype to Reality

The pilot phase includes the full development and scaling of the existing prototypes. Over the course of one year, we will complete the following key steps:

Refine the design of the arcade machines and prepare them for real-world deployment in schools
Develop three eco-educational video games to be loaded onto the arcades
Deliver and install 20+ arcades in schools across various regions of Bulgaria
Create an original tabletop game using the collectible figurines as game pieces
Build our own recycling workshop to process collected waste into game components

What Are We Looking For?

To complete the project within one calendar year, we are seeking funding of BGN 250,000, which will cover:

Refinement and production of the arcade machines
Establishment of the recycling workshop
Logistics and deployment of 20+ machines
Creation of the tabletop game and figurines
